Type 3 – PEX – c

Type 4 – PEX – Al – PEX
This is last type of PEX pipe which is crafted with layer of aluminum sandwiched between two strong layers of PEX. The layer of aluminum within it acts as barrier to any sort of corrosion or damage caused due to oxygen or other gases. Presence of aluminum within it prevents the oxygen molecules from getting in direct contact with water.
