For the first time PVC was obtained in 1835, but intensive laboratory studies of this material began to be carried out only after 40 years as its production technology was patented only in 1913 by German scientist Fritz Klatt. In 30-ies of the 20 th century in Western Europe and the U.S. starts mass production of PVC, and shortly after the Second World War, from this material are beginning to produce pipes, showers, flooring, window frames, profiles, and electrical insulation of wires and cables etc.
